This DVD based training package will help registered owners, managers and their staff understand the process of creating a fire risk assessment for their care home. The resource covers areas such as identifying and reducing hazards, protecting staff, residents and visitors from risks and details the documents that should be created to form part of a care homes' fire safety policy. The video follows a manager of a small care home preparing a fire risk assessment with guidance and advice from a fire safety expert.

Duration: 32 minutes split into 8 sections of DVD to be used in a suggested 3 hour training session.

The CD-ROM also contains Question and Answer sheets a Trainers' Guide and other supporting materials, all designed to help you prepare and run an effective training session.
