What makes BVS Training a Skills for Care ‘Centre of Excellence’?

As we begin the new year, we have some fantastic news! BVS CareTutor has had its Skills for Care ‘Centre of Excellence’ Endorsement renewed nationwide for two more years (till December 2025)!

This top-level endorsement recognises the quality of our training, our video-based courses and how BVS Training have adapted to meet the needs of the ever-changing care sector. This is a rating that is only given to the top 10% of Skills for Care Endorsed Providers!

This marks the fifth year in a row BVS Training has been awarded the ‘Centre of Excellence’ endorsement. To earn this, each year, we go through a rigorous quality assurance process and must demonstrate that our training, and the delivery of that training is of the highest quality.

See our profile on Skills for Care’s website here.

The Centre of Excellence status means that we have ‘been able to consistently demonstrate an exemplary commitment to meeting the needs of learners in the adult social care sector.’

Below are a few examples of the features we demonstrated to Skills for Care to receive this prestigious endorsement again.

Engagement

BVS Training is the only provider that specialises in video-based social care courses, professionally filmed in real care settings.

Our client management involves regular 3, 6, and 12-month reviews via phone calls or emails, alongside a dedicated customer service team, online chat desk, and feedback forms to assess learner satisfaction.

We respond swiftly to client demands, prioritising client-requested courses with expert consultant collaboration.

In 2023, we also extended our marketing efforts with increased email marketing, social media presence and blogs, ensuring all care providers know the latest regarding legislation, awareness days and any BVS Training news.

Quality Assurance

Through the dedication and diligence of our learning development team, our courses are rated the highest standard in the sector.

Every one of our courses have been reviewed and made alongside subject-matter consultants who use their extensive experience to ensure courses follow the correct guidance and give relevant insights into what a care worker may face on-site.

(Take a look at the list of consultants we work with here)

We also follow a peer review process for all our courses, with organisations such as the Alzheimer’s Society and NICE providing independent reviews.

Working with Learners

Our customer service team maintain daily correspondence via email, online chat and phone calls with social care professionals and learners, addressing their queries promptly.

As there are many differences in providing residential and domiciliary care, BVS Training has tailored training courses for both settings. The courses consider specific challenges and legislation relevant to each setting, utilising video-based training to ensure learners have a realistic understanding of what’s expected of them in the workplace.

Feedback

In 2023, CareTutor’s eLearning courses received an average feedback rating of 8.7/10 after over 200,000 course completions! We have also partnered with Reviews.io where our customers can leave independent reviews. 93% of reviewers would recommend us to another provider!

We’ve received some amazing feedback from our learners and managers. To evidence that the care providers we work with, and their learners are enjoying the training, we supplied Skills for Care with a few quotes from them:

We are delighted to have received this endorsement from Skills for Care yet again and are excited to share the new updates to come with you all in 2024!
