This course also explores the myths and stereotypes and considers how these can influence the quality of care given. Further to this, it introduces the person-centred qualities that a skilled carer would reflect in their day-to-day practice, and how person centred values and modified techniques can improve a carer’s ability to provide responsive and supportive dementia care.
