Home Care

Home (or Domiciliary) Care is provided to people living in their own home, who require additional support to help maintain their independence and quality of life. Home Care workers play a key role in maintaining this independence - so training is essential to ensure people receiving care are given support to an appropriate standard.

BVS are the only training provider to produce home care specific video training!

The videos included in these training packages are designed for home carers and are filmed in real home care environments. They have been developed with the assistance of leading UK experts, to meet all regulatory requirements.

All BVS training videos are available either as:

  • DVDs (each video course comes with supporting materials including lesson plans, handouts and certificates, available to download from our website)
  • eLearning (unlimited access to 45+ video courses from 45p per user, per month)

All video courses are mapped towards the Care Certificate Standards (England), Scotland's National Care Standards, All Wales Induction Framework for Health and Social Care (AWIFHSC), statutory training and RQF.
